New Ministry Centre for Horsham Church of Christ

Construction of a new ministry centre for Horsham Church of Christ is progressing quickly and expected to be completed by January 2018.

16 years in the making, church Elder and project manager Ivan Sherriff said, “We got serious about a new building in 2001 and bought the property in River Road in 2011 or 2012,”.

The new ministry centre has been made possible by the faithful stewardship of church leadership, the generosity of congregation members, support from CCVT, and loan funding from CCFS. The building will contain a chapel, office and administration area, auditorium, large foyer, conversation area, dining area, kitchen, café, and meeting rooms.

When asked about the project Simon Risson (pictured), Horsham church’s Ministry Team Leader, said, “We are looking forward to being able to bring all of our current ministries under one roof again to give a common home. We are excited for the opportunities that we are not yet aware of as people talk about the facility, and ask questions about how it functions and what the church is about. We hope, as the only community facility on the south side of Horsham, that we will create an environment for the community that is welcoming and transforming. We are reminded that our facilities are a base camp and not the peak. We are excited about settling into a new home, but we remember the call that we are to be a sent people!”
