Congratulations to the attendees of the inaugural gathering of Finance Representatives of Australian National Churches (FRANC) in Melbourne recently.
Under the auspices of the National Council of Churches in Australia, over 36 managers and senior executives gathered together to discuss opportunities for collaboration, innovation and how to more effectively navigate the ever-changing regulatory environment.
The depth of wisdom, experience and talent in the room was truly inspiring, and a testimony to the genuine desire of attendees to improve the governance and financial management of their organisations.
Attendees included representatives from the Anglican Church, Australian Christian Churches, Baptist Church, Catholic Church, Churches of Christ, Christian Community Churches, International Network of Churches, Lutheran Church, Religious Society of Friends and the Uniting Church.
Thanks also to Dean Pearson, Head of Behavioural & Industry Economics @ NAB and John McLeod, JB Were Philanthropic Services for their outstanding presentations.
It was great to participate and I’m looking forward to the next one!
